Quick Start and Safe Operation

  • Opening as an A-Frame: fully open the ladder and push the fulcrum lock levers upward on both sides until they are securely locked. Confirm all locking points are engaged before climbing.
  • Using on Stairs: position the ladder so the integrated stair offset block between the rear rungs levels the ladder more safely on uneven surfaces.
  • Straight-Ladder-Style Access: when appropriate for the task and safe setup conditions, the ladder can be positioned closed against a structure for straight-ladder-style access.
  • Closing the A-Frame: before folding the ladder, press the fulcrum lock levers downward on both sides to unlock the A-frame hinges.
  • Retracting: use the One-Touch Release System by pressing the release buttons located on each side beneath the lower rungs. Keep your hands on the side rails while retracting the ladder.

Orders are typically shipped within 2 weeks of purchase. However, due to weather conditions or freight delays, delivery may take 14 to 21 days.

To avoid delays, please provide a valid email address and phone number at checkout — these are required for carrier notifications and delivery updates.

✍️ Signature Required on Delivery

All shipments are sent with Direct Signature Required via FedEx. This means someone must be present to sign at the time of delivery.

If no one is available, FedEx will attempt delivery three (3) times before returning the package to Telesteps.

As the purchaser, it is your responsibility to be aware of the status of your delivery.
Your tracking number will be included in the shipping confirmation email once your order has shipped.

We do not reimburse shipping costs for packages returned due to missed delivery attempts.

After reviewing your request, we’ll send you a Return Authorization (RMA) form. You must print and include this form with your return.

Compact and 1AA Duty Rating

As customized fiberglass toppers for our pickup trucks became more and more expensive, we searched for a non-custom topper in which we would not have to add a custom internal ladder rack. As we require a 1AA rated 6-foot ladder on each of our service vehicles to be able to access drop-ceilings, attics, etc. we were struggling to move away from the customized topper. We then discovered the Telesteps 10ES. The 10ES ladder gave us the 1AA duty rating, the 6-10 foot reach height, plus was compact and stowable enough that we did not have to customize a ladder rack. The Telesteps 10ES was the perfect solution to our problem.

SAFETY INDICATOR WINDOWS

We take your safety seriously, and with the safety indicator window feature, we trust you’ll feel more comfortable with each step you take. RED means do not climb and GREEN indicates that it is safe to climb. Safety is paramount with everything we do.

PATENTED ONE-TOUCH RELEASE

Once the ladder is locked in place, you can quickly and easily pinch the One Touch Release Buttons that will slowly lower the rungs back to it’s original compact size. No physical tug of war, no use of tools…just a simple pinch, to lower inch by inch!

WIDE STABILIZER BAR

The ES Series features a wide stabilizer bar that provides additional stability and safety when using the ladder. The Essential Tool for Contractors, Professionals and Homeowners. Made of aircraft grade aluminum.

PROFESSIONAL WIDE STEPS

The EP Series features the wide Pro Step, for professional use. The steps are a comfortable 3 5/8” wide, ribbed for grip and angled at 75% so Contractors feet are always flat and level on the rung of the ladder.

STAIR OFFSET FEATURE

The ES Combination series has a stair feature. Move the Retainer Block from the bottom rung to a higher rung on the back side of the ladder. Press it underneath the rung. Then pinch the red buttons together and raise the base so it meets the Retainer Block and can fit on a staircase.

SAFETY BARS

The top rungs are for leaning against or holding onto. Do not climb on them. This feature adds addition stability and safety when working up high on the ladder. When the back side of the ladders has been raised and locked into the Retainer Block on a higher rung, you can now lean the ladder against a wall and use it as an extension ladder.

COMBI LADDERS

Telesteps Combi stepladders are the best quality and safest on the market. They provide the users a step ladder or A Frame, an extension ladder and one side is adjustable so it can be used on stairs providing a Multi-Function climbing device. The ladders are rated at type 1 AA/Grade 1AA (Canada) 375lbs. It weighs 24 lbs. It can be compared to a 6’ stepladder, with a 12’ working height. The tubes are elliptical, "egg shaped", for increased strength and pulled through the die twice to ensure precision fit and operational accuracy. Inside the tubes are silicone bushings designed for smooth controlled retraction of the ladder rungs. Don't get caught up with imitations, if it does not say "Telesteps" on the ladder it's not the real Telesteps.
