TELESTEPS® Introduces Next-Generation DuPont™ Kevlar® Reinforced Composite Ladders
TELESTEPS® Reimagines the Professional Ladder with DuPont™ Kevlar® Reinforced Composite Technology
New telescoping extension and A-frame ladders combine compact portability, professional-duty ratings and non-conductive composite rails for electrical, utility, telecommunications and industrial professionals.

The professional ladder has remained fundamentally unchanged for decades. TELESTEPS® believes it is time to change that.
TELESTEPS® has introduced a new generation of professional telescoping ladders engineered with DuPont™ Kevlar® reinforced composite rails, bringing advanced material technology into professional access equipment.
The result is a fundamentally different approach to the traditional professional ladder: compact, retractable, non-conductive and engineered for demanding professional environments.
Rather than forcing electrical and utility professionals to transport, store and maneuver conventional full-size ladders, TELESTEPS® combines telescoping technology with advanced composite construction to deliver professional reach in a dramatically more compact package.
Two Configurations. One Different Approach.
What further distinguishes the TELESTEPS® professional platform is the availability of both telescoping extension ladders and telescoping A-frame step ladders, giving professionals additional flexibility when working in tight spaces, confined areas and other environments where transporting and storing conventional ladders can be challenging.
The TELESTEPS® 1600EKP Telescoping Extension Ladder provides 12.5 feet of actual ladder height and up to 16 feet of reach, yet retracts to approximately 34 inches for transportation and storage.
Rated Type IA for 300 lbs, the 1600EKP weighs approximately 30 lbs and is designed for professionals who need substantial working height without carrying a conventional full-length extension ladder.
The TELESTEPS® 125EKS Telescoping A-Frame Ladder provides 8.5 feet of actual ladder height and up to 12 feet of reach, then retracts to approximately 31 inches.
Rated Type IAA for 375 lbs, the 125EKS weighs approximately 34 lbs, bringing the same compact concept to a professional-duty A-frame platform.

Built for Critical Infrastructure
For utility, electrical, telecommunications, rail, industrial maintenance and infrastructure crews, transporting a conventional ladder can create challenges long before anyone begins climbing.
Service vehicles have limited storage. Crews may need to access underground vaults, substations, equipment rooms and confined work areas. Professionals may also need to move ladders considerable distances from their vehicles to the actual work location.
TELESTEPS® addresses those challenges at the design level. A ladder that retracts to roughly three feet can occupy dramatically less storage space and can be easier to transport through demanding work environments than a conventional full-length ladder.
Advanced Materials Meet Telescoping Engineering
DuPont™ Kevlar® is recognized globally as an advanced high-performance material used in demanding applications where strength, durability and weight matter.
TELESTEPS® has taken that material technology in a new direction by integrating Kevlar® reinforcement into the composite rails of its professional telescoping ladder platform.
It represents the convergence of advanced materials science and compact access engineering—two technologies brought together to address practical challenges faced by professionals every day.
Engineered for Professional Use
The TELESTEPS® DuPont™ Kevlar® reinforced composite ladder platform has been developed around recognized professional ladder standards.
The 1600EKP carries a Type IA 300-lb duty rating, while the 125EKS carries a Type IAA 375-lb duty rating.
The composite ladder platform is engineered to applicable ANSI A14.5 and EN 131 requirements, providing professional users with established performance benchmarks for demanding applications.
The DuPont™ Kevlar® reinforced composite rail construction also provides non-conductive characteristics for applications where electrical exposure is a consideration.
“Our goal has always been to solve real-world challenges for professionals who work around critical infrastructure. By combining advanced materials with a compact telescoping design, we're giving crews a safer, more portable and more versatile way to work in some of the most demanding environments.”
